Little ones are so into robots – and this song is about a broken robot who wants to be part of a family, and to play with a bunch of kids and loves that they are about his size. Of course, this is Sam, and his theme is the favorite song for my grandchildren. They know all the words (they cannot read yet) and sing along. They also wait in anticipation for the very last note in the song – which is the sound of Sam’s spring popping off his arm.
